Physical Education Teamwork

One of my favorite things about Physical Education is using teamwork in almost every class. I have met so many helpful friends through P.E. If you ever have any problems with assignments, or studying for a test I know there will always be someone to help me with it. I feel as if other majors do not have the advantage that P.E. students have. In Physical Education you have to work with peers for lesson plans and assignements. In my opionon there is nothing better than working with others to finish school work!

Physical Activity Adaptive Program

I have recently heard that the our Adaptive program here at SRU is known nation-wide. I have allready planned to recieve a masters program in the field. I cant wait to get more involved with the adaptive programs. I am really a mentor in Kids In Action and next semester i plan on doing it again! Everyone in the P.E. major should be involved with our adaptive program!

Physical Education Health Classes

I am currently a Junior at Slippery Rock University my major is Physical and Health Education. I enjoy the major very much but there is one thing that upsets me. We are going to be certified in health along with Physical Education. We only have to take three health classes within the mojor and I feel that is not enough. I am nervous about teaching Health once I graduate. I think the department should highly consisder having more health classes! Hopefully in the future the department will change there layout and have a couple more Health classes.

Coolest Technology

Todays technology is so advanced that it is hard to chose the coolest technology. Although it is a hard choice I think the new 3D flat screen televisions are awesome. Not only do you get a good resoulution you also do not have to pay extra to go see movies in 3D. I am hoping that one day I will be able to purchase one for myself. I never thought there would be 3D televisions and I cannnot believe they have been invented for at-home use.
